This eagle design is taken from a set of stemware ordered in 1945 for the presidential yacht, USS Williamsburg. Created by Steuben Glass in Corning, New York, this was the last set of eagle-adorned glasses made for the White House. The central eagle, holding arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right, is encircled by eight stars.
